Our story

At Team Thinking Asia, we believe that there is a better way for you to learn and develop. One that is more enjoyable, engaging, challenging and memorable, where you actively participate, reflect and question. 

 

Team Thinking Asia is the soft skills brand of Sinzar Consulting, a foreign owned company registered in Myanmar since 2016. The company was founded by Tristan Burton and Ian Davies, who have been working in Yangon, Myanmar since 2007 and 2009 respectively. 

 

We are passionate about helping develop soft skills, the key components that are essential for personal and organisational success. They are the people skills that make a difference in creating happier workplaces and when people are happy, they are more productive and healthier too. We love to support individuals, teams and organisations to enhance their performance and success through engaging learning and development programmes. 

 

Improving communication, understanding, leadership and motivation to improve relationships and deliver results.

Although we are based in Yangon, we travel internationally to help people move towards their goals.

Tristan Burton

Director & Trainer

Tristan has been working on training projects in Myanmar since 2007 and has over 12 years of managing and delivering development programmes in Central and Southeast Asia.

 

Tristan holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, is a NeuroLeadership Institute Brain-Based Coach, a Certified Practitioner of PRISM Brain Mapping™ and a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Ian Davies

Director & Trainer

Ian has over 20 years of international training experience, developing and delivering management and organisational development programmes.

 

Ian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education, is a NeuroLeadership Institute Brain-Based Coach, an Accredited Associate Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation, a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Certified Trainer of PRISM Brain Mapping™ and a Management 3.0 Facilitator. He is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Daniel Leme

Trainer

Daniel has been working with us since 2017, as a trainer, facilitator and programme manager.

 

Before joining us, he worked as a senior cabin crew with a Myanmar airline and has a passion for customer service. He is a Certified Practitioner of PRISM Brain Mapping™ and a qualified Mental Health First Aider. Daniel is currently studying towards his MBA. 

Myat Thinzar Tun

Trainer

Myat Thinzar Tun has over 17 years of experience in training and teaching.

 

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Diplomas in TESOL and the Cambridge CELTA and is a Certified Practitioner of PRISM Brain Mapping™. She specialises in experiential learning methods and is actively involved in the design and delivery of training curriculum.

Thant Zaw Thein

Trainer

Thant Zaw Thein (Lu Zaw) is a highly experienced trainer, with many years of work experience in Myanmar and overseas.

 

He has a Business Management Degree and is a certified trainer with the Swiss Hotel Management Academy in Lucerne.

Lynn Lynn Htaik

Trainer

Lynn Lynn Htaik is a teacher, trainer and facilitator. She has degrees in English and Botany, together with teaching qualifications in English language.

 

Lynn has over 10 years of experience in lecturing and teaching, in Science, English and teacher training.

Su Htra

Trainer

Su Htra is an experienced trainer, with many years of experience delivering training within the aviation industry.

 

She previously worked as a Purser with one of the worlds most renowned international airlines and has been delivering training programmes since 2012. 

 

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and is a Certified Cabin Safety Instructor and UK / IATA certified CRM Instructor.
